I'm excited to share some great news with you all! After months of collaboration and engagement, I have worked closely with the World Flying Disc Federation (WFDF) and a passionate group of disc enthusiasts to release an e-book aimed at introducing disc sports into schools. This initiative was a huge undertaking, but I am incredibly proud to be a part of it.
Disc sports are more than just a fun pastime – they provide students with countless benefits, including teamwork, physical literacy, inclusivity and a love of movement. Whether ultimate Frisbee, disc golf, freestyle or other flying disc disciplines, these sports teach valuable life skills such as communication, problem solving and resilience.
The e-book is aimed at teachers, school administrators and anyone who wants to integrate flying disc sports into their school programs. It provides step-by-step instructions to get started, lesson plans, tips for teaching various disc games, and resources to facilitate create an engaging and supportive environment for students of all abilities.
This resource fits perfectly with my mission to expand disc sports worldwide and promote physical performance in newborn people. It also supports my broader goals of strengthening schools with fun, accessible and inclusive sports programs.
