Gannon Buhr missed two holes during the 2024 Disc Golf Pro Tour – Discraft's Green Mountain Championship at Smugglers' Notch Resort on Friday.

Buhr played a brilliant round of 16 under par and a score of 1096 at Fox Run Meadows to take the sole lead at the halfway point of the first DGPT playoff stop of 2024. He hit 19 of 20 fairways, gained 7.46 strokes from tee to green and made three C2 putts for a three-stroke lead.

It was a day of fire on the mountain.
Evan Smith moved up 17 places to sit alone in second place with a round of 14 under par. Paul McBeth shot 13 under par to move up 24 places to third, sharing third place with Joseph Anderson, who completes his brand recent top list with a round of 12 under par of his own.
Corey Ellis, Eagle McMahon and Alden Harris are also tied for third place at 19 under par, five strokes behind Buhr.
Earlier, Kristin Tattar had made 10 birdies in an 11-hole stretch to complete a 7-under-par day and extend her lead to four strokes. Tattar led the day in fairway shots (85%), park shots (39%), C1 in regulation (61%) and strokes from tee to green (8.69).
Silva Saarinen jumped to the lead with a round of 6 under par. Henna Blomroos and Ohn Scoggins are tied for third at 8 under par, six strokes behind Tattar and two behind Saarinen.
On Saturday the action moves back to Brewster Ridge.
